We have an exciting networking event that you will not want to miss! On the third Wednesday of the month, the Henrico Business Leaders group will be having a fun and informal networking get-together at The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen.

The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen is an arts venue dedicated to inspire creativity and stimulate the senses through music, dance, art and theatre. Located in northwestern Henrico County the facility once was a Henrico County school that operated from 1911 to 1978. In 1999, the renovated school opened as The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen and is a private, non-profit organization managed and maintained by The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen Foundation and Board of Directors. The Center welcomes around 90,000 visitors annually.

The facility houses a 350 seat theatre, four galleries, a gift shop, ceramics studio, photo lab, dance studios, arts studios and a variety of meeting and banquet spaces. The Center serves as an arts presenter with its twenty Center Season performances as well as nine 2nd Stage series performances. Additionally, The Center servers as a venue for other art presenters programming; serves as meeting, seminar and convention space for businesses and organizations and is a prime location for weddings, rehearsal dinners, receptions and private parties. The Center is the permanent home for the Henrico Theatre Company which produces five productions annually and the Latin Ballet of Virginia which offers all the dance classes at The Center and performs four dance productions throughout the year. The arts galleries provide opportunities for patrons to view the artwork of artists known locally, nationally and internationally.

The Center offers over 70 classes in ceramics, confectionary arts, fiber arts, jewelry, music, photography and visual arts for children, youth and adults in four sessions throughout the year. Class sizes are intentionally kept small to allow for in-depth interaction and instruction between the students and the instructors. We actively research new class opportunities on an ongoing basis.

Come out and unwind mid-week and network with the movers and shakers in Henrico County. We look forward to seeing you all there!
