Featured Speaker: Virginia Eye Institute - Tony Sakowski, Jr., M.D., F.A.C.S.

Anthony D. Sakowski, Jr., M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and specializes in cataract and implant surgery and refractive surgery. Dr. Sakowski received his Doctorate of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in ophthalmology at the Medical College of Virginia. This was followed by a fellowship in intraocular lens and cataract surgery in New York.

A native of Norfolk, Dr. Sakowski completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Richmond. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the International Society of Refractive Surgeons, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, the Richmond Academy of Medicine, and the Medical Society of Virginia.
